At Strictly Soul, you can expect to hear a wide range of RnB and soul as interpreted by our specially selected DJs. We like to explore every corner of the genres from old school RnB, new school RnB, soul, neo soul, trap soul, soulful house, funk soul, etc. We hope you’ll hear some of your favourite songs while discovering new favourites to add to your playlist.

We’re always looking for new DJs to feature. We encourage all DJs to come to the event to get the feel of the party and understand the format we use. This will also give you a chance to meet the team and community. As we are very community centered, we give first preference to DJs who are already in our community.

Ticket links are on our event pages here. A few of our events are door-sales only. If there isn’t a ticket link on the event page for your city, that means the tickets are at the door only. The event page will state this as well as the door price.

We generally do not get involved with table bookings as we don’t want to complicate how our venues operate. The event page for your city should include the phone number for the venue here

Our new Live platform seeks to give a platform to up and coming and new RnB and soul artists. We have featured both label aligned artists and independents but with a preference for artists that are part of our community so come to our parties and meet us.

If you have a project or single being released in the 3-6 months, we would be happy to consider your involvement with Strictly Soul Live. Pls contact anita@koolout.co.za with information about yourself including your social media links and links to your music as well as information about the project/single being released.

We are always happy to consider adding new territories to our calendar. Please email id@koolout.co.za with your preliminary proposal as well as any supporting media you think will help convince us (interior videos of venues are very helpful).

We encourage to book a table in advance if you would a place to sit at the event. Some of our venues operate on a first come first serve basis (venue’s prerogative based on their operations), this info will be included in our captions.

We don’t have a dress code because sexy comes in all styles. However we do encourage you to look fly AF because our photographers and videographers are tasked with capturing our community and we want y’all to look your best.
